Beneath the Lily Banners Wargames Rules
Great new rule set by Barry Hilton. This covers exactly the period of our current 28mm figure range, and we have no hesitation in highly recommending it. We are happy to sell these rules with our figures, or at shows or our workshop: but if you only want to buy the rules as web sales, can we direct you to Barry’s own web-site where you’ll find a lot of good information and pictures about the period.
The cost of the rules is £15, which is good value for all-glossy pages, with a lot of colour illustrations and gloss card play-sheet. These rules have been developed over a long period by Barry, with a healthy input from a wide range of testers.
Unit Packs – An Expanding Range
This range initially covers the Great Northern War, but will expand to cover other wars and nations. Although not yet given separate codes, artillery packs will be made to order, with the contents and prices as listed above.
The crew supplied with the artillery are a mixture from 10 poses, all different within a pack. Musketeers, Grenadiers and pikemen are a mixture of 12 poses each, and all of the mounted figures are individuals too.
The bases included in the unit packs are made of high-impact polystyrene, 1.5mm thick, and are cut to match the rules.
