Type C is the tropical pith helmet. Type D is the Bersaglieri pith helmet with cockerel feathers. Type E is for the Alpini mountain troops. Please specify the head type when ordering e.g. “two packs of I3A”, meaning two packs of firing riflemen with standard helmets. This cut of uniform was used in France, Africa and the Eastern front.
